6th European club cup for women took place in Belgrade during September 2001. Team of Agrouniverzal from Belgrade, Yugoslavia won the cup once again.



Men's and women's team championship of Yugoslavia were played in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, during June 2001.
Agrouniverzal team from Zemun won women's championship.
Men's championship ended with play-off victory of Stocar bank over Beko.


Women's and men's championship of Yugoslavia were played in Herceg Novi, Montenegro, from 23.3 to 7.4.2001.
Cholushkina won women's competition ahead of Prudnikova.
Men's championship was very exciting and ended with four players sharing champion's title: Damljanovic, Kovacevic, Ostojic and Pikula. Yugoslav chess federation decided that there will be no play-off match.
